Inside NH Preps: Cardinals will play Catholic Memorial

Excellent choice. I went to CM and now live in NH. I've always thought BG was similar to CM....

CM is a joke in football, they put together a good season every 6-8 yrs. Tojo needs to get some real competition, Schedule, St Johns, Xaverian, BC High, Everett etc, leave the 2nd and 3rd tier teams alone.

Hey Dave......least CM has stepped up to the table...unlike Nashua North or Nashua South who won't even consider playing against BG, the best football program in the state, for fear of getting whomped.

It would have been a good hockey get. It is too bad that South and North are afraid to play BG after South won 38 of 40, or whatever the record was.

Forget South/North, play a real team from Mass, not one that is good 2 times a decade. You could pick any number of programs, instead they pick a hockey school to schedule a "tough out of state" team.
Pathetic, but hey keep up the back slapping hopefully BG dioesn't hurt themselves.

Dave - how do you know they didn't try to schedule a "real' MA team? Remember, it takes two to tango and there is always the possibility that finding a "real" opponent was difficult. Also, who knows, this may not be a football only committment meaning a hockey game as well as other male and female sports could be on the table.

BTW - CM only lost two games last year and return many starters. I suspect it will be more entertaining that another Alvirne, Spaulding or Merrimack drubbing.

First of all, south is not afraid to play bg. Come play in division 1 with the big boys and they will play. Bg is division 1 in almost all other sports! Second of all, CM is not that good. Play a mass powerhouse like Everett and then you can say they play a tough schedule.

I bet BG tried to get North or South to play, and I bet they turned BG down, again, and the reason they are not playing someone in the MVC is that the MVC just added Lawrence again to the league causing one less out of conference game. It should be fun, CM had a good team last year and they are bringing back a good team, as is BG. I think we should all give up on a BG / Nashua game, or until BG has a down year in football that is, I think it will be safe for Nashua to play them again.
